The number of teeth you have missing will determine your specific type of denture treatment. Full dentures replace all of your missing teeth and a partial denture is used when some teeth remain.

Dentures can be used in the upper or lower portion (arch) of your mouth. They remain in place by natural suction to your gum tissue or by using a special dental adhesive.

Partial dentures use your remaining teeth to fill the missing tooth gaps. Your partial denture will keep your teeth in proper alignment and can be fixed or removable.

Full or complete dentures replace an entire section (arch) of missing teeth. Your dentures will be placed following an extraction once your gums have healed.
